Frequently asked questions
How can I get the greatest distance from a full battery?Trek has some tips for optimizing your battery use. For example, you can optimize your range by keeping your tyres hard enough. The ideal tyre pressure will be indicated on the sidewall of your tyres. Using a bicycle pump with an air pressure gauge you can easily see whether your tyres are running at the correct pressure. In addition, you should try to cycle at a regular cadence and motor speed. Stopping and starting in city traffic is of course unavoidable, but it is logical that this also costs extra power for an e-bike motor. If you try to apply these tips when you can, it will help you get just a few kilometers more out of the battery of your Trek District+ 6.
What is the maximum weight I can carry on this bike?
Trek has stated a maximum weight allowance of 136 kg for the Trek District+ 6. This is a combined weight of bike, rider and luggage.

Top bike for city and commuter traffic
The bike completely lives up to expectations. It is a tough bike because of its inframe battery and thick tyres. Sturdy disc brakes that bring you to a solid stop. We now have two that the whole family uses. We use the handy MIK system. So we change panniers and carrier racks quickly. The Active plus mid-motor provides pleasant support, although it's suddenly finished when you're at 25km/h. That makes pedalling at the top a bit heavy. The battery is more than adequate for us. Commuting a 40 km over the Utrecht Ridge can be done very easily on full support. 65 Km on full support possible. 85 to 100 on light to normal support. We have a matt black and a Glossy blue. The blue one scratches easily if you get sand under your shoes, so be careful. Apart from the quality of the bike, it really is the cheapest at Mantel.

Classy company
Fine E-bike. Easy handling. After years of riding a front-wheel drive, the Bosch mid-motor is quite an improvement. In addition, the sevices and after-care by Mantel are top. The bike track in the middle of the shop is also a great way to try out your intended bike. In addition, the advice for additional accessories by the Mantel advisor is an added value.
